Are you considering becoming a member of the Diabetes Federation of Ireland? Below are 10 reasons as to why we think you should!

The Federation already has thousands of members all supporting and advocating for better health services for the diabetes community in Ireland. We need you to add your support to our effort as there is strength in numbers.

  3. Helpline - the facility to talk in confidence to our helpline - 1850 909 909 - about any issue or aspect of diabetes.
  4. Working together - the Diabetes Federation of Ireland offices and our voluntary network working together to improve diabetes services.
  5. Shared experiences - the chance to share experiences with other people with diabetes through our many meetings, workshops and summer camps which you will automatically get invited to as a member.

  8. Children's services - children can join our Sweetpea Kidz Club, which offers light relief and facilitates the sharing of information and provision of peer support for all the family. Activities include education weekends, day trips, Christmas parties and information meetings.
  9. Adolescents and young adults can access to our adolescent - 13-17 year olds - weekend summer camp and our annual youth conference for 18–30 year olds.
